In plane thermal diffusivity
Based on Flying spot technique and heat source thermal solicitation associated with temperature detection with high sensitive IR camera, this set-up allows the complete in-plane thermal diffusivity characterization of heterogeneous materials. The use of Laser solicitation is a way to characterize from high thermal conductive sample to insulator one. Moreover, the inverse processing proposed here is adaptive and very fast fro global estimation (area of the sample) or local one (at each pixel of the thermal image).
